     I have been doing some form of scrapbooking since I received my first camera at the age of twelve.  After developing my pictures, I would diligently put them into photo albums. I was also an avid sticker collector and decided to combine the two to create fun and colorful pages. Throughout high school and college, I continued to collect photos, newspaper clippings, certificates, etc. and place them in a photo album.  It was about twelve years ago that I discovered the whole new world of modern scrapbooking.

      After the birth of my first nephew, I knew that I wanted something special to capture the moments of his first year. I walked into a local craft and hobby store and the rest is history. Before long, I had several scrapbooking items ~ albums, tools, paper and tons of embellishments. I didn't even know what to do with some of these items but I knew that I just had to have them. Sound familiar?!? During the last twelve years, I have enjoyed learning many wonderful techniques to enhance my pages. I have recently immersed myself into digital scrapbooking and have discovered another level of this wonderful hobby (hmm . . . dare I say, obsession).   

      Throughout this journey, I have met many wonderful people and formed lasting friendships. My goal is to introduce scrapbooking to as many people as possible so that they too can benefit from the joy that scrapbooking brings.
